General Motors is famous for handling various automobile divisions, and one of them is Buick. This American automobile manufacturer sells luxury vehicles in a higher position than both Chevrolet and Cadillac divisions. It began in 1899 when it was first called as Buick Auto-Vim and Power Company who sells internal combustion engines and motor cars. It was then turned to Buick Motor Company in 1903 by its founder David Buick.
Two prototype vehicles were built between 1899 and 1902 and the company sold the first built Buick car model in 1904 and named in Model B. 37 of these were made but only one replica was restored and is now featured at the Buick Gallery & Research Center.
The 1904 Buick has a balanced flat-twin engine and a torque aligned to the chassis in a longitudinal way that cancels front end lift and produces unwanted lateral motion.
