Birth, Demise, Legacy
Klaus Dieter Frers, an innovative mechanical engineer, always wanted to contribute in creating amazing automobiles for the motoring industry. As early during the 80s, Frers launched several electronic modular companies that created components for automobiles.
More than a decade later, Frers took the chance to get into the automobile industry. Launching Artega in 2006, the brand then created exciting sports cars that balanced style and performance.
Come 2010, the brand was acquired by Tresalia Capital, a Mexican Investment firm. However, 2012 signalled the brand to file for bankruptcy.
Death was just temporary for Artega, though. The company that Frers’ opened during the 80s, paragon AG, acquired Artega. This placed Frers back in control, driving Artega to gain more landmarks.
